I am dedicated to researching issues related to teaching and learning in science education and sustainability education. I primarily employ close-to-practice methodologies, collaborating with teachers to develop and research teaching practices. Two recent projects include one focusing on antibiotic resistance education, where I collaborated with teachers to develop teaching principles and materials, and the other exploring 'Open schooling,' which engages students in local sustainability challenges. The research involves studying the design processes in lesson design workshops where researchers and teachers collaborate. Both projects aim to enhance students' action competence in addressing sustainability issues.
